Georgina Onuoha is a well-known Nigerian actress, model, television personality, and philanthropist. Born on September 29, 1980, in Anambra State, Nigeria, she grew up in a family of six, with her father being a retired army officer and her mother a nurse.
For her secondary education, Georgina attended Federal Government Girls College in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. Later, she pursued her passion for the arts by studying Theater Arts at the University of Lagos. To further refine her acting skills, she went to the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California.
Her acting journey began in Nigeria, where she starred in Nollywood movies such as “Power of Love,” “Married to a Witch,” “Triangle of Tears,” and “House of Gold.” Seeking to broaden her horizons, she moved to the United States and appeared in popular TV series like “Doctors,” “Falling,” “Scandal,” “The Wrong Prince Charming,” and “The American King.” She also took part in various movies, including “Weekend Getaway,” “Mother of George,” “Open Marriage,” “To Love and to Cherish,” and “Platinum Status.”
